When does the menu change?
Every day at midnight UTC. That's midnight UTC where you are. Everyone gets the same menu on the same day.
Do I have to find the exact town?
No, but it helps. A guess within 25 km of a dish's hometown earns all 100 points, and points fall away with distance. A guess in the right country usually still scores well. See how scoring works.
I think a dish's hometown is wrong.
Food history is often disputed. We pin each dish at the place most widely credited with it, and mention rival claims in the clue where there's room. If you think we've got one wrong, email us with a source and we'll take a look.
My streak or stats disappeared.
Your progress belongs to the browser or app you play on. Clearing your browser's data, using a private window, switching devices or reinstalling the app starts you fresh. A way to keep your streak across devices is planned.
Can I change a guess after serving it?
No. Before you serve, you can tap anywhere else to move your guess, and a card shows exactly where it is. Once a course is served, it's final.
Is Meridish free? Is there an app?
Meridish is free to play on the web. Apps for iPhone and Android are on the way.
What do you do with my data?
Very little. There are no accounts, names or ads. We keep your guesses and scores under a random ID so we can score them and keep your streak. The privacy policy has the details.
Delete my data
Deleting your data removes your guesses, scores, stats and streak from our servers and from this browser. It can't be undone.
